Welcome

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

My approach to therapy is based in the restorative power of relationship. As your therapist my aim is to help you increase your capacity for healthy and fulfilling relatedness with others. In our work together, we will address your treatment goals while finding new ways of carrying on in the face of life’s diverse challenges. Working towards healing is a process that will affect change in predictable as well as uniquely unexpected ways.

who i work with

I work with adults and adolescents on a variety of life’s concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and self discovery. I also supervise clinicians towards their pursuit of licensure. My training and approach relies on trauma-informed, attachment-based, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic orientations.

I hold an undergraduate degree in psychology from Seattle Pacific University and received my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. I have completed a 2-year training program in Theory, Process and Social Applicability of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy through The Seattle Psychoanalytic Society & Institute . Currently I am a candidate in the 4-year psychoanalytic training program at The Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis.
